Volunteer Application

LOCAL LEAGUES ARE RUN BY PARENTS AND VOLUNTEERS! WE NEED YOU!

Taylor Area Baseball and Softball PREFERS that volunteers register as a volunteer through our website. Once you have submitted your information, the Board will submit your name and e-mail to our background check provider.
Taylor Area Baseball and Softball utilizes JDP, Little League International's background check provider, for paperless background checks that involve the applicant and a web-connected device.
The process:

A board member will submit your name and e-mail to JDP once you have submitted a volunteer application
JDP will send you an e-mail invitation that looks like the e-mail below. Taylor Area Baseball and Softball will send you a notice to expect receipt of the e-mail invite with the correct e-mail sender name.
Complete the background check by following the instructions in the e-mail and in the survey.
Submit once complete!
You will be e-mailed a submittal notification.

Benefits of this process are:

No paper
Personally Identifiable Information is not documented on paper
Your information is NOT AVAILABLE TO ANYONE other than the background check provider
You control the process

To keep information private, the information is sent via HTTPS in an encrypted format. Only JDP has access to your information for this purpose. No paper and no one else entering your information.

We encourage everyone to volunteer through the web application; however, you may also complete the Volunteer Application. Please mail to the league at the address below or contact a board member to find out where you may turn this in.
